Stalmic Distributors' purpose is to help feed communities. We are looking for a service technician to join our team in achieving this. This service tech will receive on-the-job training in our niche market. They will learn to repair and perform maintenance on all sorts of meat room processing and packaging equipment. Once they are trained, they travel to customer locations within our area, throughout the week, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the equipment. Responsibilities: • Service technicians are on the road throughout the week and home on weekends. • They rotate being on call for the weekend (earning them 24HUG pay). • They have the option of working holidays (also earning 24HUG pay). • They will be assigned company vehicles, company phones, and company tablets in order to better perform their job duties. • They will also be assigned a company credit card to take care of on-the-road expenses such as meals, hotel rooms, and fuel. • They will also be able to participate in company goals to earn even more rewards. Qualifications: • Must exhibit all of Stalmic Distributors' core values: including getting in the game (striving to learn, be helpful, and stay with it), owning it (telling the truth, not making excuses, and taking pride in your work), and being hungry (supporting your teammates and customers, doing your part). • Must be able to pass and maintain the ability to pass a drug screening test, MVR, and background screening (something on your background does not disqualify you from this position, but hiding it is likely to do so). • Experience in the electrical and/or equipment repair field is a plus. • Experience in a position working on the road is a plus. • Experience being versatile and able to work independently as well as part of a team is highly desired. Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 yearly
