Field Service Manager / Operations Manager – New England Region Full-Time Base Salary ~$150,000 + performance bonus
We are the fastest-growing commercial HVAC/R services company in New England, delivering high-quality, reliable heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions to businesses across the region.
We need a proven leader who comes directly from the HVAC/R field service world to take ownership of our field operations and become the operational backbone of the company.
What You Will Own
Lead, coach, and hold accountable a growing team of commercial HVAC/R technicians
Run daily dispatching, job prioritization, route optimization, and workload balancing
Enforce consistent processes for estimating, invoicing, job completion, and client updates
Serve as the primary escalation point for clients and technicians during service delivery
Track and improve key metrics (first-time fix rate, response time, technician utilization, profitability)
Oversee parts inventory, vehicle/equipment readiness, and vendor coordination
Drive safety compliance, technician training, and continuous process improvement
Report directly to the CEO and help shape the next phase of rapid company growth
Must-Have Qualifications
7+ years of direct HVAC/R field service experience (commercial preferred)
Proven history leading and managing HVAC/R technicians in the field
Deep understanding of dispatching, estimating, invoicing, parts ordering, and client communication in HVAC/R
Strong administrative and organizational discipline
Comfortable using field service management software (specific platform not critical)
EPA certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to be in the main office 9–5 (strong preference for in-office presence in Massachusetts; very strong remote candidates may be considered)
