Field Service Representative - Instrumentation & Electrical Focus
Job Description
As an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician (I&E Tech), you will spend the majority of your time time analyzing, troubleshooting, improving, and maintaining electrical power circuits and equipment for new plant in the Houston area. You will also be responsible for maintaining and upgrading control and automation systems and instrumentation, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pump stations, water plant operations, and measurement facilities.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities **
Proficient with electronic/electrical test instruments and measurement devices
Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
Experience working with water treatment equipment is a plus
Ability to work with a team and coordinate work schedules
Demonstrates a high attention to details and is able to follow work processes, standards, and requirements
Must be able to work from elevated platforms, ladders, stairwells, walkways, etc
Knowledge of basic programming and PLC/HMI software preferred
Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens hardware and software preferred
Must be able to respond to callouts and emergencies (within 1-2 hours) during and after regular business hours
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
5+ years of relevant instrumentation and electrical experience in an industrial environment
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers
AA degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Working Conditions
Up to 75% travel, typically within the region
Work typically in outdoor, industrial environments
