    Today we are now hiring a  Field Service Representative in Glendale Heights, IL.

    We are looking for a Senior Field Service Representative to support the entire power system lifecycle, from startup and commissioning to troubleshooting and emergency repairs. This is a highly stable role offering a guaranteed 40-hour work week, a company vehicle, and significant opportunities for career advancement.

    What You’ll Do
    Technical Support: Execute startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution and control systems.

    Project Leadership: Manage small projects independently and lead field teams on larger-scale assignments.

    Analysis & Reporting: Generate accurate service reports on equipment performance and provide recommendations for electrical system improvements.

    Mentorship: Cultivate strong relationships with customers and mentor junior technicians within the team.

    Digital Integration: Utilize advanced tools including IR cameras and remote collaboration software to solve complex technical issues.

    Qualifications & Skills
    Basic Requirements:

    Education: High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of experience in electrical distribution/control systems OR 7+ years of experience in lieu of a diploma.

    Experience: Proven background in testing, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution equipment. Must have at least 3 years of experience in a field setting.

    Logistics: Valid Driver’s License and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Candidates must live within 75 miles of Glendale Heights, IL.

    Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of 3-phase power systems and low-to-high voltage equipment.

    Preferred Experience:

    B.S. in Engineering or Associate degree in a technical field.

    NICET/NETA certification.

    Experience with power quality measurements and protective relays.

    Professional Engineering (PE) or Electrical Contractor’s License.

    Physical Requirements & Success Criteria
    Ability to work variable hours (nights/weekends) and travel within the region as required.

    Physically capable of standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly.

    Ability to obtain/maintain a valid TWIC card.

    Strong problem-solving skills under time constraints and stressful situations.
