    Senior Field Service Engineer / Supervisor (Offshore & Marine)

    Location: Houston, TX (with travel to site locations and offshore) Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Employee Stock Options + Growing Department

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead aftermarket support for offshore mooring systems, shiplifts, and hydraulic deck machinery. This is a high-impact, "Senior/Lead" role requiring a blend of hands-on technical mastery and business acumen. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact, managing the repair, refurbishment, and servicing of equipment while identifying new business opportunities during client interfaces.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Technical Leadership: Perform onsite inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex hydraulic systems, mooring equipment, and load-handling machinery.

    • Compliance & Certification: Conduct inspections in accordance with API RP2D, DNV, ABS, and Lloyd’s Register standards.

    • Client Management: Serve as a key figure for customer calls, providing technical and economic assessments for equipment refurbishment or new sales.

    • Field Operations: Lead field service scopes, including the installation and maintenance of specialized equipment such as knuckle-boom cranes, davits, and winch systems.

    • Mentorship: Conduct technical training for operators, riggers, and junior technicians.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Experience: 6+ years in in Lead Hydraulics / Fluid Power Field Service / Service Engineering role

    • Hydraulic Expertise: Mastery of hydraulic troubleshooting, including experience with major brands like MacGregor, NOV, or Pusnes.

    • Technical Skills: Strong background in electrical controls, electronic A2B systems, and weight indicators (e.g., Cranesmart or LSI).

    • Certifications: * API Crane Inspector certification (highly preferred).

    • IFPS Certification or specialized hydraulic training (e.g., Rexroth or Linde) is a major plus.

    • Compliance: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and hold a valid US Passport.
