Wright Technical is partnering with an Automation client seeking a Field Service Supervisor to join their team. This role is integral to devising plans that align work and resources, ensuring that customer requirements, contractual obligations, and service assignments are fulfilled promptly and uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across departments to identify service process enhancements and promote organizational adoption of tools aimed at boosting efficiency and productivity.
- Team up with service leadership to create service offerings that facilitate a transition from a “reactive” to a “proactive” business model, emphasizing customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Build and oversee remote field service teams in areas with significant business potential and key customer accounts. Engage in the design, evaluation, and advancement of service KPIs.
- Directly manage team members, encompassing responsibilities for staffing and performance development.
- Provide constructive feedback, clarify performance expectations, and address sensitive issues as they arise.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including Engineering, Operations, Order & Parts, Project Management, Sales, Training, and Technical Support teams.
- Gather and utilize customer feedback (both internal and external) to drive continuous service enhancement.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (OR a high school diploma/GED plus an additional 4 years of product management experience).
- Demonstrable experience in leading relevant programs and projects.
- Recent experience managing a large remote workforce.
- Knowledge of resource planning and employee performance management.
- Familiarity with EPICOR preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized, capable of handling a high volume of daily tasks.
- Strong technical aptitude for scheduling and managing customer work orders.
