    As a Service Technician at HomeSmiles, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills, plenty of field experience, and the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule. A top-level Lead Service Technician efficiently manages all service callouts, providing high-quality service and maintenance for any job size.

    Responsibilities

    As a Field Service Technician, you will:

    Perform routine home maintenance tasks including gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, window washing, pressure washing, and over a dozen other essential services—both inside and outside the home.

    Maintain equipment and supply stock in your brand-new, company-provided take-home vehicle to ensure you’re always ready for the next job.

    Respond to dispatches for scheduled home maintenance appointments

    Greet clients and walk through services before starting work

    Place yard signs at the job site. Distribute flyers and door hangers when not on job sites

    Upsell additional services where appropriate

    Ask for Google reviews and build trust through great service

    Track jobs and complete reports using a company-provided iPad

    Train and mentor future support techs as you grow into a lead role

    You’re a Fit If You Are:

    Punctual, coachable, and dependable

    Excited by performance-based pay and motivated to maximize your earnings

    Confident and comfortable interacting with homeowners, property managers, and facility staff

    Detail-oriented with a focus on doing the job right the first time

    Able to follow systems, checklists, and procedures accurately

    Physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors year-round

    Not afraid of heights (able to get on roofs at a reasonable heights)

    Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record

    Qualifications

    Handyman skills.

    Sales experience or willing to train

    High school diploma or GED.

    Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment.
