Power Generation & Distribution Services (PGDS) is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician II to perform industrial electrical testing and substation maintenance projects across the United States.

This role requires hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and safe work execution in industrial and utility environments.

What You’ll Do

Perform circuit breaker inspections and electrical testing (LV/MV)

Conduct insulation resistance and grounding tests

Assist with and perform secondary injection testing

Support protective relay verification and functional testing

Assist with generator startup and commissioning activities

Complete field documentation and contribute to test reports

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years electrical, industrial, or field service experience

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams

Strong understanding of electrical safety practices

Comfortable using laptops, test equipment software, and digital reporting tools

Willing and able to travel 95% domestically

Required Certifications

(Must be obtained within first 30 days if not already held)

OSHA 30

NFPA 70E

CPR / AED

Lockout / Tagout training
