    The Role

    The Field Service Technician provides on-site and remote IT support for client environments — handling desktop, network, and infrastructure tasks with minimal supervision. This role is client-facing and requires strong troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and independence.

    The technician will also coordinate with third-party vendors managing cameras, access control, and building management systems (BMS) to maintain integration within Meraki and Fortinet networks.

    Responsibilities

    Provide on-site and remote desktop, network, and hardware support

    Configure and maintain Meraki switches, access points, and Fortinet firewalls

    Troubleshoot connectivity, endpoint, and VPN issues

    Deploy new workstations and assist with network upgrades

    Serve as remote hands for servers, switches, and infrastructure tasks

    Communicate clearly with clients and document work accurately

    Collaborate with vendors to validate connectivity and integrations

    What You Bring

    2–4 years of IT field support or network operations experience

    Hands-on experience with Meraki and Fortinet hardware

    Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    Valid Indiana driver’s license and clean driving record

    Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in varied environments

    Preferred

    Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and endpoint tools

    Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard and FortiGate GUI/CLI

    Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or Fortinet NSE

    Schedule

    Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings or weekends for projects or critical support. When not traveling, the technician will work from our Carmel, Indiana office with our engineering and operations teams.

    Additional Information
