  • Responsibilities

    Position Responsibilities

    • Investigate and resolve customer-reported technical issues while identifying and implementing solutions to prevent recurring operational or service problems.

    • Provide timely on-site technical support to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.

    • Install, service, and repair equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality in accordance with specifications.

    • Maintain high standards for quality and productivity. Listen carefully, ask appropriate questions, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.

    • Monitor and respond daily to all communication platforms.

    • Accurately complete service documentation, including detailed reports of work performed and time spent on each service call.

    • Arrange travel in compliance with company policies, including booking flights, rental cars, and hotels. Communicate travel plans and arrival times clearly to customers and team members.

    • Provide customers with service team contact information for future service and parts needs. Ensure customers are fully trained and comfortable with equipment operation and safety procedures.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

    • Experience with controls systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, with the ability to perform operational adjustments and modifications as needed.

    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and perform effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.

    • Capable of working independently in unsupervised settings.

    • Advanced troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electronic, and operational systems.

    • Focus on machine service, problem resolution, and preventative maintenance.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

    • Proficient in writing routine reports and professional correspondence.

    • Comfortable speaking effectively to groups of customers or company associates.

    • Strong mathematical aptitude, including probability, statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry, and practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

    • Ability to analyze problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.

    • Skilled in interpreting complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and managing multiple variables simultaneously.

    Additional Requirements

    • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

    • Valid U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.

    • Willingness and ability to travel throughout North America based on customer needs.

    • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.
