    Job Summary

Sutter Home and Hearth is Seattle’s leading retailer of gas and wood fireplaces, BBQ’s, fire pits, and outdoor living products. Our company has been in Ballard, serving the Seattle area, for over 40 years. We serve a variety of clients, from homeowners to architects: the little house on the corner to the custom house on the lake - and even the skyscraper downtown.

We are currently seeking a field service technician to perform repair and installation work in customers’ homes and other job sites throughout the greater Seattle metropolitan area. This role requires someone who enjoys mechanical and technical problem solving but also enjoys serving and working with people. Our service technicians are loved by our customers because of their expertise and because they are service oriented. We need someone who will be excited to apply their critical thinking skills when it comes time to troubleshoot - someone who enjoys a good puzzle and takes pride in helping others.

Sutter Home and Hearth is an established small company where you will know all your fellow coworkers, and where each employee is a name - not a number. We are a tight-knit community that finds meaning in the work we do for each other and for our customers. We need you, and we want to invest in you if you will invest in us. We celebrate diversity and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.

If you like working with your hands, playing with fire, and performing work that can really make people happy, then this is the right position for you.
