    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on various mechanical systems and components.

    -Mechanical troubleshooting is also a portion of this role

    -Proven experience with Flux Core welding is required

    Responsibilities

    • Perform welding and fabrication tasks on-site to meet project specifications.
    • Conduct inspections and assessments of mechanical systems to identify issues.
    • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop effective solutions.
    • Maintain and repair equipment and machinery as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while working in the field.
    • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services provided.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
    • Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a field service environment.
    • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

    • Heavy Equipment Repair
    • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
    • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
    • Welding Setups for Production
    • Mechanical Assembly Skills
    • Machine Safety Inspections

    Machines & technologies you'll use:

    • MIG Welder
    • Flux-Cored Arc Welder

    Salary info:

    $26 - $30 / hr
