Your Role on the Jobsite

You are the daily leader across multiple projects and the on-site extension of our Project Management team.

You will:

• Lead crews and subcontractors with professionalism and accountability • Work hands-on when needed — leading by example • Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites that reflect our standards • Protect craftsmanship while keeping projects on schedule • Solve problems calmly and proactively • Communicate clearly with PMs, clients, inspectors, and trade partners • Train and mentor developing field talent

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily site operations and field personnel • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and sequencing • Conduct daily quality control walk-throughs • Enforce safety standards and site protection protocols • Interpret plans, specifications, and scopes accurately • Plan ahead for materials, equipment, and manpower needs • Maintain daily logs and photo documentation • Resolve site challenges professionally and efficiently • Represent Woolsey Construction with professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years residential construction experience • 2+ years in a superintendent or field leadership role • High-end residential experience strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of sequencing, materials, and Califorinia building codes • Ability to read plans and anticipate issues before they arise • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented • Calm problem-solver who leads without ego • Tech-comfortable (smartphones, tablets, construction apps) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
