Our team is looking for a collaborative, action-oriented leader, ready to join our high-performing, quality-focused Construction Cleaning Division. About the Role The Field Supervisor reports directly to our project managers and is accountable for the performance and success of daily Field Operations. Managing a field crew of 30 staff, this leader schedules, plans, prioritizes, allocates team members, and drives the completion and quality of construction cleaning projects. The role entails daily dispatch, field project oversight, quality assurance, and the daily management of employee and customer expectations. The key to success is the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a mix of direct reports, projects, and customers in alignment with job profitability and quality expectations while also improving processes and simplifying operations. This leader will also assist in coordinating our on-site Safety Program. Responsibilities: • Lead, manage, and assume accountability for daily Field Operations; lead and facilitate project team member growth. • Establish and prioritize project and personnel schedules, aligning customer expectations and resource availability. • Establish long-term and short-term project plans, including milestones, to ensure projects are delivered on time and safely while meeting quality and profitability expectations. • Streamline daily operations to minimize, quickly address, and resolve risks to project completion, such as customer concerns and personnel. • Dispatch crew members, subcontractors, and equipment. • Prepare and review budgets, comparing historical vs actual production rates to provide daily guidance to project teams. • Provide a strategic vision and path to achieve long-term goals and foster a highly collaborative, team-first environment to achieve them. • Assist in recruiting team members, administrative support, and subcontractors for all service areas. • Review and audit job costs, inclusive of site visits, estimating, billing, and quality control reviews. • Develop and manage the company safety program, serving as a liaison to the field team. • Lead monthly field crew meetings and implement safety program incentives. Qualifications: • Proven team leader, builder, and communicator. • Detail-focused, self-starter, and problem solver that gets things done. • Documented progression of project and/or operations management success. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with front-line labor. • Adept at creating and continuously improving processes and systems. • Technologically savvy; able to learn and implement new software and systems quickly. • Able to facilitate field operations that regularly start at 6 am and may extend beyond normal business hours. • Able to work primarily out of our El Cajon office and support projects throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas, as required. • Able to travel, as required, up to 10% to support growth. Preferred • Experience leading field operations within a construction and/or commercial cleaning company. • Field Supervisor and/or Continuous Process Improvement training and/or certification. • Safety Program Development and/or Management experience. Desired • Experience implementing new software and technology to streamline and systemize operations. • Experience managing a Quality Assurance program. Compensation: $69,000 - $75,000 yearly
