Responsibilities: • Assist the Service Manager in leadership, management, and accountability of Field Technicians, to include weekly 1:1s, ride-a-longs, and ongoing communication with Field Technicians. • Train Field Technicians on technical skills, company processes and procedures, safety rules and regulations, and quality expectations. • Lead the company's Quality Assurance program and ensure service quality standards are met or exceeded. • Monitor the performance of Field Technicians and advise them on how to improve. • Conduct training with Field Technicians to continually enhance their service delivery. • Assist the Service Manager in conducting ride-a-longs and debriefs with Field Technicians to improve and/or reinforce behaviors. • Review curbside feedback and option sheets with Field Technicians. • Maintain Plumbing technical competencies. • Work alongside technicians and dispatchers to ensure the overall success of the department. • Actively participate in and/or lead training and meetings. • Assist Field Technicians with troubleshooting customer concerns and ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction. • Assist in onboarding new Field Technicians. Qualifications: Required: • Career-long track record of growth & success as a plumbing field technician and/or plumbing service manager. • Impeccable understanding of plumbing best practices, code, and operational considerations that apply to residential job sites. • Strong technical understanding of plumbing products, solutions, and service invoicing. • Ability to build trust, demonstrate empathy, and inspire others to attain objectives. • Detail-focused, self-starter that gets things done. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Quick, sound decision-making abilities with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. • Adept at creating and improving processes, systems, and the quality of work delivered. • Able to work out of our Orange County office and/or in the field with technicians daily. • Able to work weekends. • Hold a valid (CA) driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Able to pass a background check for Home Services. Preferred: • Plumbing Journeyman’s License. • 15+ years as a Plumbing Technician and/or Plumbing Service Manager. • Experience running a home service plumbing Quality Assurance program. • Experience managing and/or leading safety programs. • Good presentation and public speaking skills. Desired: • Experience conducting call-by-call management. • Experience within a Nexstar Network Home Services Company. • Experience using Service Titan or similar home services support software. • Experience developing and delivering training programs to Field Technicians. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
