Job Overview:

Web-Centric Alternative Certification Program is seeking experienced educators to join our team as Field Supervisors. This role involves mentoring and evaluating new teachers to ensure their success during their intern year. Field Supervisors act as liaisons between WCACP and participating schools, providing guidance, support, and professional assessment. This is a great opportunity to make extra income for retired educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between WCACP, participating schools, and educators.
• Provide mentoring and support to intern teachers.
• Conduct formal classroom observations (minimum of 45 minutes).
• Evaluate lesson plans and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide new teachers in reflective thinking and self-evaluation.
• Conduct orientations for intern teachers and cooperating teachers.
• Document and report any infractions or concerns related to school policies, professionalism, and instructional progress.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, principals, and WCACP staff regarding concerns and progress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of all interactions and observations in the Field Supervisor database.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Educator Certificate in the state of Texas.
• Minimum experience at the Assistant Principal level.
• Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate school visits.
• Proficiency in basic technology skills for documentation and communication.
• T-TESS Training required.

Working Conditions:

• $100 per candidate observation plus travel expenses
• Looking for coverage of Wichita Falls, TX and surrounding areas and/or Beaumont, TX and surrounding areas
