We are seeking a skilled Field Technician with specialized experience in the wastewater industry and industrial pump systems. This role is responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of critical pumping equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a proven track record of troubleshooting rotating equipment in municipal or industrial wastewater environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Pump Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs on submersible, centrifugal, and grinder pumps.

• System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within wastewater lift stations and treatment facilities.

• Field Operations: Conduct equipment startups, preventative maintenance (PM) inspections, and precision alignments.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and technical reports for all field activities.

• Safety: Strictly follow industry safety standards, including Confined Space Entry and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Direct Industry Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience specifically within the wastewater industry.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience repairing and maintaining various types of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in outdoor environments and comfortable with the physical demands of field service work (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and confined spaces).

• License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with electrical control panels and motor testing.

• Relevant wastewater certifications (Class D or higher).

• Confined Space Entry certification.
