    Position Summary

    525 Technologies is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to support camera installations, low-voltage cabling, and access control systems for school systems. This role requires hands-on technical experience, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a strong commitment to professionalism when representing our company on customer sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    Install, configure, and service:

    Security cameras (IP and related hardware)

    Low-voltage cabling and infrastructure

    Access control systems

    Perform on-site work at schools and educational facilities

    Read and follow installation plans, diagrams, and scope documents

    Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues

    Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff and administrators

    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    Represent 525 Technologies in a professional and respectful manner at all times

    Document work performed and report job status as required

    Required Qualifications

    Prior experience with camera installations, low-voltage work, or access control systems

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

    Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces as required

    Professional demeanor when working in school environments

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working in schools, colleges, or public-sector facilities

    Familiarity with structured cabling standards

    Access control or security system certifications (a plus, not required)

    Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, switches)
