    We are seeking a dependable, long-term Field Technician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, working in a team environment, and building strong relationships with customers across a variety of industries. On the job training is provided.

    The Field Technician will install, service, and troubleshoot mobile video systems, two-way radios, and other in-building technology solutions. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow. Candidates with military experience or backgrounds in security systems, low-voltage wiring, car audio, vehicle upfitting, or two-way radio work are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    Report to work prepared and on time, adhering to daily schedules

    Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle, tools, and equipment

    Install, troubleshoot, and service mobile video, two-way radio, and related systems

    Perform all work in a safe and professional manner

    Occasionally work at heights using ladders or lifts

    Meet with customers to review installation options and project details

    Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers regarding project status

    Complete work within reasonable timeframes

    Accurately complete service documentation

    Assist with inventory management

    Qualifications

    Positive, professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Mechanical aptitude with proficiency using power tools

    Willingness to travel within Ohio (paid drive time in a company vehicle during work hours)

    Pride in quality workmanship

    Ability and willingness to learn new equipment and techniques

    Ownership of basic hand tools (specialty tools provided)
