    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Garage Door installation with great knowledge of project materials and procedures. High School Diploma is required. OSHA Basic, Apprentice Program, Journeyman as appropriate. English is required.

    Duties

    • Perform fiber splicing and cabling installations for telecommunication systems.

    • Install and configure network equipment, including Cisco routers and Ethernet connections.

    • Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telephony and low voltage systems.

    • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems.

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

    • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.

    • Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the industry.

    • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools.

    • Familiar with Project materials, practices and procedures.

    • Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple tasks effectively.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

    • Strength, manual dexterity, and stamina are required to perform the physical work to operate the equipment, and to use the tools of the construction work throughout the entire workday.

    • Ability to lift up to Eighty (80) pounds.

    • Must have full range of body movements including the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, use tools and equipment; walking, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
