General Manager / Restaurant Director Job description
The Fielding’s General Manager position leads restaurant operations, Service and Culinary, and directly reports to the Director of Operations. Will be responsible for maintaining hiring, team development, execution, sanitation standards, food service execution, scheduling of the Service line and leadership team, and delivering consistent desired financial goals. Maintain a professional relationship with all department managers and employees. Duties are varied and complex and are subject to evolve with business growth. Able to adapt to evolving marketing promotions, procedures, techniques, tools, materials, equipment, and products. Oversees and is responsible for the team’s development and training with a focus on Service performance. The General Manager is held accountable for the team’s and restaurant’s operational and financial performance.
Essential Duties but not limited to:
Ø Promote and maintain the Company culture and values

Ø Inspire the staff to exceed guest expectations
Ø Follow and inspire others to achieve the Company vision to be the premier food and service provider in the market area
Ø To know the food and beverage, being a product champion

Ø Handle cash and credit cards to expectation
Ø Open and close the restaurant to expectation.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Ø Sommelier certification preferred Integrity in all decisions, communications and operations
Ø Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ø To always present a professional demeanor including high personal presentation standards
Ø Have strong computer skills.

Ø Bi-lingual a plus
