Position Title: Packaging Specialist (Hunter / Business Development) Location: Cincinnati, OH (home-office based – must live in or relocate to Greater Cincinnati area) Territory: Cincinnati metro + surrounding areas (will collaborate closely with one existing rep)

The Role – What You’ll Actually Do This is a true hunter position focused on new logo acquisition and aggressive wallet-share growth inside existing accounts. You will:
- Prospect daily into manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and food/beverage plants throughout Greater Cincinnati
- Own the full sales cycle: cold outreach → needs analysis → site surveys → custom ROI-driven proposals → close → long-term account penetration
- Grow a small inherited base (~$500K current revenue) while building a multi-million-dollar book of business
- Partner with top-tier vendor reps on joint calls and national-account strategies
- Deliver measurable TCO reduction for customers through equipment, consumables, service, and VMI programs
- Live in the field – face-to-face selling is the expectation (daily local travel + occasional overnight)
Success Looks Like Year 1 goal: achieve 100%+ of forecast (realistic six-figure earnings at plan). Top performers regularly hit 150–200% of quota and earn well into the mid-to-high six figures.
