We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, that has strong communication skills and that is very meticulous in their work. Your responsibilities:Work with the credit group to research municipal and corporate bond issuers, with a focus on financial, economic and esg factors and market data;Research municipal issuers, government websites, and data providers for specific credit metrics to add to our proprietary ESG scoring model;Participate in weekly group meetings, providing updates on credit and market related research;Challenge assumptions and offer thoughtful insights into how metrics could be changed or improved. Must have requirements to be successful in this role: Enrolled in bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Economics, or a related field;Coursework in environmental studies or social sciences will be considered an asset;Entrepreneurial background with a proven ability to think creatively and analytically to develop a solution;Modeling in Excel and the ability to write macros will be considered an asset;Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint;Proactive, self-reliant, thorough, organized and able to work independently and as part of a team;Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy;Excellent communication skills;Ability to manage priority requests and work under pressure.
