The law firm of Fierro & Kori, PLLC is a boutique general practice in Herndon, Virginia with a diverse clientele. We are hiring a full time attorney licensed in Virginia to primarily work on Family Law and Criminal Defense cases. After a three month probationary period, employment benefits will include the option for health insurance, retirement contribution, and paid vacation/holidays.

Requirements:

• You must have an active bar license and be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• 1+ year of experience practicing law

Responsibilities include:

• General litigation work
• Discovery
• Drafting pleadings and motions
• Managing all phases of representation of the client
• Client meetings, communications, and interviewing prospective clients

Applicants will:

• Be self-motivated and highly organized
• Have superior time management skills
• Have experience in family law, civil procedure, and/or criminal law
• Excel in legal research, legal writing, and litigation
• Have an aptitude for persistently advocating for and empowering clients
• Possess experience with bench trials
• Conduct themselves with the highest ethical standards
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is not required but is a plus.
