    Outpatient Mental Health Clinician

    Classification: Full-Time / Direct-Hire

    Fil Staffing is looking for a Outpatient Mental Health Clinician to work Hybrid in San Francisco.

    Summary:

    Fil Staffing is working with a client nonprofit in San Francisco that aims to provide families in the bay area to live with understanding, confidence, straight, and joy. The mission is to be the place to begin for children, youth and families who need mental health, social services and academic support.

    Responsibilities:

    The Outpatient Mental Health Clinician provides family and individual treatment, depending on the needs of the clients served and School Based Services.

    • Provides mental health services based on the needs of the Outpatient Clinic, including group, family, and individual treatment
    • Provides case management oversight of assigned cases including advocacy, collaboration, monitoring of progress and ongoing needs, referrals, and discharge planning with other service providers
    • Conducts CANS mental health assessments for referred youth
    • Provides collateral treatment with families
    • Provides consultation to classroom teachers regarding classroom mental health issues as needed
    • Participates in IEP and/or SST for assigned children or other education-mental health team meetings
    • Maintains appropriate documentation in compliance with program standards
    • Participates in regularly scheduled supervisory team meetings
    • Maintains Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of employees, clients, and families
    • Driving throughout San Francisco as needed

    Job Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; clinical license required, and registered in the State of California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
    • 1-2 years of experience providing mental health services
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bilingual Clinicians desired (ideally Spanish)
