    OMH Program Clinician

    Classification: Full-Time / Direct-Hire

    Fil Staffing is looking for a OMH Program Clinician to work Hybrid in San Francisco.

    Summary:

    Fil Staffing is working with a client nonprofit in San Francisco that aims to provide families in the bay area to live with understanding, confidence, straight, and joy. The mission is to be the place to begin for children, youth and families who need mental health, social services and academic support.

    Responsibilities:

    The Outpatient Mental Health Clinician provides family and individual treatment, depending on the needs of the clients served and School Based Services.

    • Provides mental health services based on the needs of the Community Based Services Department, including group, family and individual treatment
    • Provides case management oversight of assigned cases including advocacy, collaboration, monitoring or progress and ongoing needs, referrals and discharge planning with other service providers
    • Conducts CANS mental health assessments for referred children
    • Provides collateral treatment with families
    • Provides consultation to classroom teachers regarding classroom mental health issues
    • Participates in IEP and/or SST for assigned children or other education-mental health team meetings
    • Works collaboratively with school site staff (principal, resource specialist, teacher and site program consultant)
    • Maintains appropriate documentation in compliance with San Francisco Mental Health Standards including use of Avatar for all CANS requirements (assessments and treatment plans)
    • Participates in regularly scheduled supervisory team meetings
    • Maintains Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of employees and clients

    Job Requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field; clinical license, and registered in the State of California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
    • 1-2 years of experience providing mental health services in an educational setting either as a direct service provider or consultant
    • Interest/experience in school/mental health collaboration
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bilingual Clinicians desired ( Spanish)
