    Position Summary

    The Medical Director is the standard bearer and senior clinical leader responsible for managing medical care, patient care, and physician engagement ensuring optimal quality care standards and premium customer service for the Team and its high-net-worth members. Role is an equity position to support reward of invested time developing and aligning responsibilities to the growth and success of the organization and its vision.

    The Medical Director builds professional relationships with medical providers in the community and promotes the vision and goals of the client while ensuring the clinical, professional, and service success of all company clinical staff. The Medical Director is innovative, advocates for members, and supports the management of clinical teams by attentively assessing objectives and priorities, and addressing matters promptly, competently, and respectfully.

    The Medical Director focuses on providing overall direction to support and develop clinical practice guidelines and protocols. The incumbent promotes clinical programs, projects, and objectives in collaboration with the management team to assure clinic teams and external provider partners deliver quality medical care, with premium experience while complying with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational conduct and expectations.

    Essential Requirements and Qualifications

    1. Licensure: Medical doctor in good standing and fully licensed to practice in the state of Florida without limitations or restrictions.
    2. Education: Graduate from an accredited college of medicine.
    3. Experience: Minimum of 15 years working as a physician in a group or private practice environment providing care to seniors as a primary care provider.
    4. Certification: Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, or Gerontology.

    • Possesses a strong and engaging presence in the community (Tampa, Sarasota, or Naples) with networking ties and privileged relationships with local specialists and hospitals.
    • Effective oral and written communication.
    • Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple growth and program development priorities.
    • Clinical innovator and manager able to stay abreast of medical advancements and healthcare technology developments to promote and integrate evidenced-based and leading-edge treatments to members.

    Management And Business Development Expectations

    • Creates the foundation for a triad model of care supporting high quality care standards, premium member experience, and excellent operational services resulting in high value patient outcomes.
    • Develops and maintains market relationships with premiere quality specialty providers and hospitals.
    • Collaborates with the Director of Experience to seamlessly integrate quality clinical care services with premium member experience strategies through robust marketing.
    • Responsible for building and growing the clinical team by collaborating in provider recruitment and retention efforts through hiring, training, and development of clinical staff as the company grows and matures.

    General Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supports strategic and service goals by meeting and advancing clinical objectives, quality initiatives, and service standards.
    • Supports and participates in the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating, mentoring, and engagement of clinical providers.
    • Drives a positive culture that supports team-based collaboration, promotes results that improve patient satisfaction, member and employee retention, and the physician experience.
    • Recommends and implements process improvements designed to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of physicians and clinicians in meeting the goals and objectives of Forefront Medical Advisors.
    • Responsible for the development of clinically focused, evidence-based protocols and services to ensure delivery of best practice clinical care guidelines.
    • Improves patient satisfaction, quality objectives, physician experience, and desired clinical outcomes through care delivery and assurance to regulatory compliance.
    • Champions clinicians and cultivates an environment that promotes the culture and core values of Forefront Medical Advisors.
