We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a File Clerk/Legal Assistant opportunity for a well-established Law Firm. This is an entry-level position with training provided.

The File Clerk/Legal Assistant is responsible for below specific duties

Your specific duties will include:

• Opening and maintaining client files
• Completing, drafting, and scanning legal forms and correspondence.
• Drafting and sending letters to clients and third parties.
• Requesting and following up with clients for necessary documentation.
• General clerical duties including mailroom operations, filing, data entry, copying, and scanning documents.
• Uploading documents to electronic discovery platforms and case management systems.
• Conducting phone calls with potential and current clients.
• Translating (Spanish preferred) for clients during meetings with attorneys and paralegals.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

• Legal experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate Range : $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
