ABOUT US: FileYourTaxes.com is one of the original cloud-based tax filing services. We work closely with the IRS and state governments to provide up-to-date services for our individual and professional clients.
I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Our Sales and Operations Specialist position will work closely with our sales and marketing department as well as our operations team to promote our brand and deliver a quality product to our customers. You will have the opportunity to train and work in both sales/marketing and operations, as well as customer support.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Job Responsibilities: Your job responsibilities will be decided after a six week training with multiple departments to see where you are best suited. On-the-job training is provided.
Our sales and marketing department is responsible for acquiring and building new and existing relationships with potential leads and customers for our professional tax preparation software, as well as designing and publishing marketing content to connect with our audience, including but not limited to social media, email marketing, other forms of internet marketing, and trade shows. These campaigns are supported by sales calls made by our sales team.
Our operations department is responsible for supporting and building relationships with our partners and customers. They are responsible for issue management and resolution, onboarding of new partnerships, as well as testing and troubleshooting various aspects of our software programs to ensure optimal functionality.
Both departments are also responsible for call-in customer support. During tax season, we experience a high volume of phone calls and emails from customers who use our services. All members of our team are expected to participate with customer support, both inside and outside of tax season.

The job is located in Ventura, CA. USA.
