    Filta RDU Cleaning Service Technician Job Description

    Wages: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour after training is complete

    Evening, morning, weekend and part-time shifts available

    Early morning starts between 3-4am and ends 10am-12pm

    Evening starts between 4-6pm and ends between 12-2am

    Weekend and Part-time shifts are flexible based on the hours you want to work

    We are looking for hardworking, trustworthy and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Cleaning Service Technician in regular part-time and full-time positions. In this role you will visit our clients on a consistent route to clean their deep frying equipment with a vacuum based cleaning system and manage cooking oil with a patented microfiltration machine or remove their waste oil. You will also frequently be part of teams delivering deep cleaning services to commercial kitchens in longer project jobs that are typically on nights and weekends.

    We provide the required training on equipment, uniforms and PPE to perform the services necessary for the job. This role requires a dependable, independent hard-working individual, with great customer service skills. Work Location is on the road in commercial kitchens with our company fleet vehicles based from our warehouse in Durham, NC 27704 with weekly on site duties to help maintain the warehouse, vehicles and equipment.

    Cleaning Service Technician Responsibilities:

    Show up on time to work assigned schedule by following job routines and notes

    Regular care and maintenance of cleaning equipment

    Routine cleaning of deep fryers and cooking oil management

    Commercial kitchen equipment and surface area cleaning (walls, floors, ceilings)

    Keep inventory of supplies and materials on company truck for current and next shift

    Communicating with management, coworkers and clients on cleaning visits & issues

    Cleaning Service Technician Qualifications:

    Strong desire for company culture fit in as an active team member supporting others

    Solid communication skills to solve minor problems and timely text messaging responses

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record to understand vehicle safety

    Ability to lift 75 lbs. and roll machinery up ramps and/or hold on to truck lift gates

    Must be able to pass a background check including DMV records for auto insurance

    Ability to work independently and consistently by following daily routine procedures

    Bilingual (Spanish / English) skills are beneficial but are not a requirement

    Application Process

    Phone screening interview for 20-30 minutes to describe role and culture.

    In person interview at warehouse with Operations Manager and Lead Technician to see equipment and understand cultural and company fit.

    After accepting written offer and terms, training will take 2-4 weeks before starting to work individually.
