JWG Trucking is looking for a high-ownership Finance & Administration Manager to take leadership of the financial and administrative side of our growing aggregate logistics company. This is not simply a bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who can own the function today and help build the department for tomorrow. You will take responsibility for the financial and administrative workflow of JWG Trucking, including ticket processing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, transaction monitoring, CRM accuracy, financial reporting, and administrative communication with customers and drivers. Initially, this will be a hands-on role. You will personally own many of the day-to-day responsibilities while improving the systems, controls, reporting, and processes behind them. As JWG grows, you will have the opportunity to help build the Finance & Administration department and eventually lead that team if you demonstrate the capability. The right person is highly organized, financially capable, proactive, and naturally takes ownership. You should be able to identify problems before they become bigger problems, create order where needed, and give leadership clear visibility into the financial and administrative health of the business. If you are looking for an opportunity to build, own, and grow a function within a growing company, this could be an excellent fit. Responsibilities: Own the ticket-to-cash process: oversee ticket processing and verification, accurate and timely invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections Own accounts payable: manage bill entry, approvals, vendor payments, and monitor bank and credit card activity for accuracy and discrepancies Maintain accurate systems and records: keep QuickBooks, Workiz CRM, customer/job information, and company documentation organized and current while coordinating with our third-party accounting resources Own financial visibility: track and report key information including A/R aging, payables, cash requirements, billing status, discrepancies, and other meaningful financial insights Manage administrative communication: communicate professionally and proactively with customers, vendors, drivers, and owner-operators regarding tickets, invoices, payments, and documentation Build and improve the function: create better processes, controls, reporting, KPIs, and documentation that allow Finance & Administration to scale, with the opportunity to help build and eventually lead the department as the company grows Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, office management, or a related role Strong QuickBooks knowledge with hands-on experience managing A/R, A/P, invoicing, and financial transactions Strong financial understanding with the ability to interpret business information, identify discrepancies, and provide useful insights to leadership Exceptional organization, accuracy, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight High-ownership, proactive problem-solver who identifies issues, brings solutions, and continuously looks for ways to improve systems and processes Strong communication and technology skills; construction, trucking, logistics, Workiz/CRM experience, or previous team leadership experience are strong advantages Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
