    Job Description: Orlando Shakes is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This position will report to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions
    • Verify and reconcile invoices and statements
    • Prepare and process payments for vendors and suppliers
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables
    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
    • Assist with financial reporting and audits as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
    • Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable or similar finance role
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
