What You’ll Be Doing: As the Financial Assistant, you’ll act as the financial backbone across multiple businesses. Your role is to ensure that the owner stays focused on high-level strategy while you handle the intricate details of the financial and administrative operations. Responsibilities: • Financial Management: Act as CFO for various businesses by obtaining and certifying monthly financial statements, confirming free cash flow (FCF), and conducting random audits and spot checks on income, expenses, and vendor rebates. • Business Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance each business's financial performance. • Personal Financial Management: Update and maintain the owner’s Personal Financial Statement (PFS) monthly, transposing financials from each business. • Executive Support: Manage multiple calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle all "to-dos" that arise from company meetings. • Communication Management: Own multiple email accounts, responding on behalf of the owner and ensuring communication is handled efficiently. • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues related to banks, credit cards, mortgages, insurance companies, and other entities. • General Assistance: Maintain and organize calendars, documents, and notes across platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, iOS Notes, and more. Conduct research, create PowerPoint presentations, and assist in planning personal and business trips. • Technology & Systems: Support the implementation of new systems and technology to streamline operations. Qualifications: • Must reside within 30 miles of Port St. LucieEntrepreneurial Mindset: You must be a self-starter who can think independently and take initiative. • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and reverse-engineer solutions. • Problem-Solver: Confident in tackling challenges, whether it’s setting up sales appointments or resolving financial discrepancies. • Positive Attitude: A can-do, optimistic approach to work is essential. We believe in hands-on evaluation. As part of the application process, you will be given a P&L and Balance Sheet to analyze and determine the FCF and pinpoint where profits went down to the cent. This paid exercise will help us gauge your analytical skills and attention to detail. Compensation: $50,000
