Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our team in Saint Paul, MN. This is an entry-to-mid-level operational support role designed for a dedicated "doer" who can efficiently manage the day-to-day transactional activities of our finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our daily financial processes.
Reports To: Director of Operations
Key Responsibilities
Transactional Processing: Accurately and timely process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
Daily Cash Management: Handle routine daily cash receipts, deposits, and check printing.
Bookkeeping Assistance: Assist the Operations Director in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
Financial Data Entry: Perform routine data entry into financial software applications.
Month-End Support: Gather supporting documentation and assist in the preliminary preparation for monthly and annual financial reporting.
Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure adherence to basic internal control policies and procedures.
Vendor Communication: Manage routine communication with vendors regarding invoices and payments (no contract negotiation required).
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Proven basic understanding of accounting principles (we are willing to teach and train the right candidate).
High proficiency in data entry and experience working with financial software.
Exceptional organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively manage time and tasks with minimal supervision.
Compensation and Logistics
Job Type: Full-time, in person.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year, DOQ
Location: Saint Paul, MN 55101.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
