    About the Role

    A growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a highly organized Finance & Billing Coordinator to support its Controller with day-to-day financial operations.

    This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of independently managing financial tasks from start to finish—while not being responsible for leading or running the finance department.

    You will handle billing, AR/AP, bookkeeping, vendor payments, and employee expense processes with accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment and enjoys keeping financial workflows running smoothly.

    What You Will Do

    • Accounts Receivable

      • Prepare and send client invoices

      • Track payments and follow up on overdue balances

      • Maintain accurate billing schedules

    • Accounts Payable

      • Process vendor bills, recurring charges, and credit card transactions

      • Schedule and track payments

    • Employee Expenses

      • Process reimbursements and expense reports

      • Ensure documentation and approvals are accurate

    • Bookkeeping & Reconciliation

      • Perform daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online

      • Reconcile accounts, credit cards, and financial transactions

    • Client Billing Coordination

      • Maintain accurate billing records

      • Update project charges, renewals, and recurring services

      • Track subscriptions, vendor services, and contract renewals

    • Reporting & Workflow Support

      • Prepare spreadsheets, summaries, and basic financial reports

      • Improve workflows under the Controller’s direction

      • Communicate with clients and vendors professionally when needed

    Requirements

    • 2–5+ years experience in AR/AP, billing, bookkeeping, or financial coordination

    • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online

    • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas)

    • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

    • Extremely organized with the ability to self-manage tasks

    • Able to follow established processes while identifying improvements

    • Comfortable working in a support role (not a leadership position)

    $65,000 per year
