_ A Day in the Life_

• Supports the financial operations of Munson Healthcare by contributing to accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes. contributing to accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
• Assists in preparing and maintaining financial reports, including budget-to-actual tracking, monthly financial statements, and departmental reporting.
• Supports reconciliation of financial accounts, general ledger entries, and other financial data within Munson Healthcare systems.
• Helps prepare documentation and analysis for audits, compliance reviews, or internal financial assessments.
• Assists with data entry, coding, and quality review of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related entries.
• Conducts research and financial analysis to support decision‑making for operational, capital, and strategic initiatives.
• Provides administrative and organizational support to the finance team, including filing, record maintenance, and updating financial databases.

Qualifications

_ What’s Required_

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least one to two years’ experience in customer service, accounting support, financial analysis, or related work/volunteer experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other financial or database systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive financial information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
