    Finance Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as an active member of the senior management team and supports team through management and improvement in operational reporting
    • Presents monthly financial reporting to management company accounting team.
    • Prepares monthly financial statements while analyzing and investigating variances and trends
    • Provides financial status and advice by studying operational issues and developing recommendations
    • Oversees the development of forecasts and preparation and management of budgets
    • Assists with the line of credit monthly borrowing base calculation and compliance certificate
    • Performs technical accounting research
    • Prepares the sales commissions calculations
    • Executes commission payments and payroll through 3rd party payroll platform
    • Oversees all other back-office functions including:
    • Internal controls
    • Cash management and treasury
    • Accounts payable
    • Corporate credit card program and expense policy
    • Coordinates with management company and ensures the timeliness and smooth running of tax filings
    • Assists management company in fulfilling both collateral and financial statement audit requests related to the medical receivable assets
    • Leads the recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training of any new financial & accounting personnel

    Requirements

    • CPA licensed
    • 10+ years’ experience with ~5 years’ experience in public accounting and ~5+ years’ experience at a growing, transaction-oriented company
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy
    • Sound administrative and managerial skills
    • Proficient training, coaching and counseling abilities
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles
    • Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills
  • Compensation
    $120,000-$150,000 per year
