    Operation Exodus USA exists as a response to the very specific calling of God to facilitate the immigration of Jewish people to Israel. The intercessory and prophetic components have significant weight in the organization in order to effectively work in harmony with what God requires. We are reaching out to the Christian community as well as the Jewish community in the US.

    Profile

    The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standards of financial and legal compliance for our Christian ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Finance Manager will work closely with the President to support the ministry’s financial stability and compliance practices. Relying on intercession, seeking the Lord’s will and consulting with financial and legal professionals will be necessary to navigate complex situations effectively.

    The Finance Manager will report to the President.

    Requirements

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Related Field.

    · At least five years of experience successfully leading a Financial/Accounting department or a similar function

    · Experience in the nonprofit industry highly preferred

    · Experience working with QuickBooks, Payroll Systems and Breeze (Database)

    · Experience with Non-Profit status Legal requirements

    · Experience with Payroll Systems and Compliance

    · Able to work in a multicultural environment

    · Strong team player

    · Must live in the Buffalo area

    Key Responsibilities

    · Be a strong advocate of the core purpose, vision and values of Operation Exodus USA

    · Oversee day to day accounting functions including payroll reports, compliance with labor law, tax regulations, audit reports etc.

    · Bank Reconciliations

    · Oversight and preparation for annual audit, working with the CPA firm as required

    · Financial reporting

    · Directs and assigns the work of the Bookkeeper

    · Oversee budget development process and department budgets

    · Oversees and maintains compliance with states and filing required reports

    · Partner with human resources to ensure financial compliance with payroll tax regulations and adherence to State and Federal laws affecting compensation and benefits

    · Insurances: Business Liability, Worker’s Comp, Bonding, Directors & Officers, DBL/PFL, Health, and Cyber Insurance

    · Assist with training of support personnel
