Job Description: Finance Manager/ Plant Controller
Position Summary
The Finance Manager oversees daily financial operations, ensures accurate reporting, and provides strategic financial insight to support company decision-making. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls while serving as a key business partner to department leaders. This role acts as a liaison between the Plant and the executives. The Finance Manager leads the finance team, drives process improvements, and supports long-term financial planning to guide organizational growth.
Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Business Partnership
• Serve as the financial liaison to department leaders, supporting strategy, planning, and operational decisions.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial managers.
• Participate in management meetings to provide real-time financial perspective.
• Ensure leadership has the financial information needed to meet company goals.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate inputs from all departments.
• Prepare and review rolling forecasts, scenario modeling, and long-term projections.
• Analyze trends, variances, and operational drivers to support financial planning.
• Ensure assumptions are realistic, data-driven, and aligned with organizational strategy.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to provide financial visibility.
• Conduct profitability analyses, cost reviews, and operational performance assessments.
Internal Controls & Compliance
• Maintain and strengthen accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
