Finance & Operations Coordinator (AR/AP + Admin)
Location: Depew, NY | In-Office (Required)
Buffalo Solar Solutions is seeking a proactive Finance & Operations Coordinator to manage accounts payable/receivable while supporting day-to-day operations across our growing commercial energy business.
This role works closely with our off-site CFO and internal teams to keep financial processes accurate, organized, and moving efficiently. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and isn’t afraid to step outside a traditional accounting role to solve problems and support projects.
Key Responsibilities
Process AP/AR, create purchase orders, and issue customer invoices
Track payments, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with vendors and customers
Work within QuickBooks and internal systems to manage financial workflows
Help create, follow, and improve finance policies and procedures
Support multiple projects and administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Experience with AP/AR and accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred)
Highly accurate and detail-oriented
Comfortable collaborating with leadership and an off-site CFO
Willing to take initiative and support various operational needs
Strong communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and get things done
Team-oriented and reliable
