    About the Practice

    We are a growing private counseling practice dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered mental health care. Behind the scenes, strong financial and operational systems are essential to supporting clinicians and ensuring the practice runs smoothly. We are seeking a motivated Finance or Accounting major to gain hands-on experience in the financial operations of a healthcare practice.

    Position Overview

    This internship is ideal for a college student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field who wants real-world exposure to bookkeeping, financial administration, and money flow management in a small business healthcare setting. The intern will work closely with the practice owner and administrative team on backend financial and operational tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with bookkeeping and financial record organization

    • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking

    • Help monitor and organize cash flow and revenue streams

    • Assist with expense tracking and financial reporting

    • Support tax preparation by organizing documents and records

    • Help maintain financial systems and spreadsheets

    • Assist with backend administrative tasks related to billing and operations

    • Identify opportunities for improved financial efficiency and organization

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled college student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial data

    • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (QuickBooks experience a plus, but not required)

    • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

    • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
