    Job Description

    Job Title: Finance Specialist II

    Location: Houston, TX

    Job Type: Contract (1 Year)

    Pay: $33-38/hr on W2

    Position Overview:

    The Finance Specialist II will support Global Supply Chain (GSC) Enterprise Standards by managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a willingness to work across multiple operational sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities for GSC operations
    • Ensure compliance with enterprise financial standards, policies, and procedures
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance
    • Participate in financial audits and support audit preparation activities
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
    • Support process improvements and standardization initiatives across departments
    • Travel to different sites as needed to support operations and financial activities

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • 2–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
    • Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Oil & Gas (O&G) industry
    • Exposure to audit processes or financial compliance
    • Experience working with cross-functional or global teams

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Adaptability to work with multiple departments and stakeholders
    • Willingness to travel and work across different operational sites
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    Work Environment:

    • Office-based role
    • Occasional travel to operational sites may be required
