Florida Doctors Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly comfortable working with numbers, preparing reports, and managing financial data in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, review, and maintain financial reports with accuracy and attention to detail
Pull, organize, and analyze data using Excel and other reporting tools
Assist with reconciliations, tracking payments, and reviewing financial records
Support accounting operations, including data entry and report preparation
Maintain organized documentation and ensure financial information is up to date
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams regarding financial data and reports
Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
REQUIREMENTS
Strong understanding of numbers and basic accounting principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data organization
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and general computer applications
Ability to pull, review, and interpret reports accurately
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt quickly and perform well in a fast-paced setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
Experience working with reports, reconciliations, or financial tracking
Familiarity with accounting systems is a plus
