    Compensation & Benefits

    • Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (DOE and Education)
    • Time Off: * Vacation: 12 days per year (accrued monthly after 3 months) * Health Leave: Up to 56 hours annually (available after 3 months) * Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year (eligible after 3 months)

    Position Summary

    The Finance and Administration Coordinator will support Abrazar’s finance team with key accounting and administrative responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, passionate about nonprofit work, and looking to grow into a future leadership role in finance and administration.

    You will help maintain accurate financial records, assist with audits and reporting, ensure compliance, and represent Abrazar in meetings with external partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare monthly invoices and data reports in compliance with contracts
    • Support preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
    • Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Prepare and post journal entries
    • Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
    • Support budgeting and audit preparation
    • Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
    • Assist with internal audits and review of subcontractors
    • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
    • Prepare financial reports related to operations, subcontractors, and vendors
    • Participate in preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
    • Represent Abrazar at meetings and on relevant committees
    • Support professional development efforts for finance and administrative staff
    • Perform other clerical or administrative tasks as needed

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
    • Basic understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
    • Able to work in an evolving, fast-paced environment

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Hybrid office and field environment; must be able to travel locally
    • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday
    • Must be able to transport materials such as laptops or documents
    • Requires manual dexterity for computer and office equipment
    • Must occasionally lift/move items over 50 lbs
    • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions
