Responsibilities: • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs • Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertising our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies Qualifications: • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferred • A required Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related field • Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients • Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary • Valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required • Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus • Must have graduated from high school or received a GED; a Bachelor’s degree is desired • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued Compensation: $117,000
