Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Prospecting • Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through outbound calling, networking, referrals, community involvement, and digital outreach. • Build and manage a consistent prospecting pipeline to support long‑term practice growth. • Conduct introductory meetings to understand client goals, gather initial information, and position the value of Principal’s solutions. Relationship Building • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular communication, follow‑up, and high‑touch service. • Establish trust by actively listening, asking meaningful questions, and demonstrating a genuine interest in helping clients reach their financial goals. • Support senior advisors, when appropriate, in nurturing complex or high‑value relationships as needed. Business Development Activities • Participate in networking groups, professional associations, and community events to enhance visibility and generate new connections. • Utilize social media and digital tools to expand reach, promote services, and attract prospects. • Collaborate with internal teams to create targeted outreach campaigns and follow‑up strategies. Client Experience Support • Prepare for client meetings by gathering background information, organizing materials, and ensuring accurate documentation. • Assist in onboarding new clients by coordinating paperwork, managing scheduling, and ensuring a smooth transition into the practice. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of prospect and client interactions in the CRM system. Practice Growth & Learning • Engage in ongoing training related to prospecting techniques, communication skills, and relationship‑building best practices. • Stay informed about Principal’s product offerings and planning resources (no prior investment expertise required). Qualifications: • Requires a bachelor’s degree. • Working knowledge of the financial industry, personal financial advisors, or financial planner roles is helpful. • Ability to obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66, & state life/health insurance licenses within 120 days of offer. • Basic knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, and related programs, is preferred. • Interpersonal skills complemented by a strong desire to build strong client relationships with existing and prospective customers. • We will sponsor candidates for FINRA Series 7/66 required registrations. Compensation: $50,000 - $100,000 at plan
