The opportunity: Join Toberman Becker Wealth, a fast-growing, fee-only registered investment advisor (RIA), as a Financial Advisor serving successful professionals transitioning into retirement. Career development: The TBW Advisor Training Program combines experienced mentorship with an initial training period. Gradually progress from a firm support role to focusing fully on the new client relationships you lead, with dedicated support staff offered over time as the number of clients you serve grows. Client growth: Build a list of client relationships from scratch within TBW, primarily through the firm’s marketing and referral pipeline rather than cold outreach. There are no lead-generation quotas. Compensation: Starting base salary is $95,000–$110,000 annually from day one. Earn the greater of your base salary or revenue-sharing compensation tied to the client relationships you build and lead. 401(k) plan: Receive an employer-funded 3% annual Safe Harbor contribution, fully vested immediately upon contribution. Eligibility begins after 3 months of employment. Health coverage: The firm does not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance. Compensation is structured with this in mind. Work setting: Work in a flexible hybrid arrangement, or primarily in-office, based on what works best for you and clients. Responsibilities: Learn TBW’s systems, planning process, investment philosophy, and service standards through hands-on support and client service work, Lead Advisor-led meetings, and feedback. Support client service requests, meeting preparation, planning research, and firm operations, including billing reviews and compliance documentation as needed. Develop prospective client relationships and progressively lead client meetings, communications, and ongoing advice. Create, update, and present comprehensive financial plans covering retirement, taxes, estate planning, risk management, and investments. Tailor investment plans and asset allocations to client goals and risk profiles; explain recommendations and collaborate on portfolio implementation, trading recommendations, and tax-loss harvesting. Document client communications and planning information in the CRM, and ensure timely follow-through on requests and meeting action items. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to improve processes and deliver consistent, personalized client service. Qualifications: Hold CFP certification and have a clean U4. Recently certified professionals are welcome. Have 2–5 years of client service, advisor support, or junior advisor experience. No prior Lead Financial Advisor experience or existing book of business is required. Bring a strong desire to become a world-class Lead Advisor, openness to feedback, and willingness to perform support work while developing your skills. Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. Demonstrate financial planning and investment knowledge, proficiency with financial planning software, and strong organization and attention to detail. Explain complex financial topics clearly, demonstrate emotional intelligence, and commit to honest, client-first advice. Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000
