    Previous experience: Worked at Fiserv as a Client Service Advisor, partnering with financial institutions to support back-office operations and business strategy.

    Passionate about: Developing people, expanding impact through leadership, and helping both clients and advisors achieve long-term success. Outside of work, she is a proud single mother of three, enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, loves music and dancing, and values spending time outdoors, especially during the summer months.

    Danielle DeLorge, Growth & Development Director & Financial Advisor:

    Time with NM: Since 2016

    Previous experience: Began her career with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern in June 2016 before transitioning into a full-time role and becoming an integral member of the leadership team.

    Passionate about: Building long-lasting client relationships rooted in empathy and integrity, spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, enjoying outdoor activities, family gatherings, and maintaining a healthy balance between professional success and meaningful personal connections.

    Alexa Philbrick, New Client Growth & Acquisition Specialist & Financial Advisor:

    Previous experience: Made a purposeful career change from another role in finance at age 26. Holds an English minor and a business minor, which shape her strong communication skills and analytical approach. She now focuses on recruiting, developing, and supporting advisors, with particular strength in mentoring career changers and growth-minded professionals.

    Passionate about: Helping clients achieve long-term financial security, mentoring the next generation of advisors, reading, continuous learning, and taking on new challenges with curiosity and intention.

    Paul Schaeffer, FSA, Financial Advisor:

    Time with NM: Since 2024

    Previous experience: Actuary (FSA) with a background in actuarial science, data and analytics, healthcare finance, underwriting, pricing, reserving, FP&A, and actuarial modeling. Entered Northwestern Mutual with deep product knowledge equivalent to decades of industry experience and a strong professional network of over 2,000 contacts, which helped him transition quickly and build early momentum.

    Passionate about: Spending time with his wife and their three children. Enjoys family golf, skiing, and travel, along with music, thought-provoking puzzles, finance, and making a meaningful impact by helping others.

    Bryan Jock, WMC Financial Advisor:

    Previous experience: Law enforcement, serving in a supervisory detective role. Developed highly transferable skills including strong client communication, attention to detail for individualized retirement planning, and active listening, now central to his client-first advisory approach.

    Passionate about: His family and spending quality time with his wife and two children. Outside the office, you’ll often find him at the batting cages with his daughter or at the ice rink with his son.

    Lia Moylan, Financial Advisor:

    Previous experience: Teacher and bartender, bringing a people-first mindset, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills into her financial advisory practice. Focused on helping individuals and families reach and maintain long-term financial security and stability.

    Passionate about: Spending time with her three children (a 4-year-old daughter and twin 1-year-old boys), travel, food, fun experiences, and helping others build a secure future.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.

    Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.

    Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.

    Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.

    Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.

    Qualifications:

    Education: A bachelor's degree is highly preferred, but not required.

    Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.

    Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

    Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
