Financial Aid Operations Specialist – Federal Work Study Program
Job Description
Under general direction, this role supports student finance operations by performing key financial aid and student account processes aligned with team functions. You will play a critical role in promoting student success by ensuring accurate, timely processing of Title IV financial aid and delivering responsive support to both internal partners and external agencies.
This position is responsible for running and analyzing reports to identify, track, and follow up with students requiring financial support or action, helping drive positive student outcomes.
In addition, this role supports the administration of the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program for Chamberlain University and Walden University. Responsibilities include awarding, monitoring, and reconciling FWS funds to ensure student eligibility and maintain compliance with institutional policies and Title IV federal regulations. You will partner closely with university stakeholders to support student employment initiatives, track program utilization, and uphold federal reporting and compliance standards.

_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.15 and $23.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
