  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Analyst, Ad Sales Finance for Partnerships and FAST Platforms will support core ad sales finance processes for all partnerships related to Core and FAST Platforms, primarily owning reconciliation of partner payments, and consolidated weekly financial reporting for core ad sales business. The role will also assist with broader NBCU Digital portfolio reporting and analyses.

    • This role will provide ongoing support to the Manager and Director of Partnerships and FAST Channel ad sales finance, including:
      • Ownership and improvement of Sales reporting and metric analysis
      • Research drivers of key variances and trends
      • Validating and approving all external payments to partners
      • Flagging discrepancies and working both internally and externally to resolve
      • Facilitating with Account Payable to onboard new partners
      • Own reporting for our partnerships with YouTube, Snap, TikTok, Roku, etc.
      • Leverage best practices with peers to develop consistent processes
      • Execute routine postmortem analyses and ad hoc requests
    • Own Rev Share reporting and backfill tracking and payments for all FAST external partners, requiring effective internal and external communications and accuracy
    • Support the Sales, Planning, and Strategy teams on broader portfolio reporting and analysis including YouTube and Fast Channel weekly reporting
    • Support the Monthly and Quarterly Close process
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.)
    • Develop expertise in digital and streaming ad market trends, growth, and competition
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, strategy, planning, and inventory
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Finance experience preferred
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Solid work ethic with an eagerness to proactively help solve problems
    • Team player with strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work with key constituents (sales, planning, finance, accounting, etc.)
    • Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Excellent organization and time/project management skills
    • Demonstrates an interest and knowledge of media

    ** Additional Requirements**

    Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
